Welcome to Samantha Coates' Cakes!
As a child, I'd spend hours in the kitchen either with Mum who first taught me to bake fairy cakes, or with Dad who would create wonderful homemade bread in the shape of hedgehogs and tortoises! A few years later, I volunteered to make the family's christmas cake and have been making it ever since. So when my friend Chris asked me if I could make his wedding cake, I was really excited to give it a go...
Since then, I have gradually been building my portfolio, making birthday, christmas, anniversary, christening and wedding cakes, many of which you can see on this website!
